Updates

Hello! It looks like, minus the wedding picture website update, we have not updated our blog since Dave's birthday. As I am sure that you can guess, things have happened since then.........

One of Dave's birthday gifts was a bag full of baby clothes. WE ARE HAVING A BABY! He, or hopefully SHE is due on May 23rd. We are so excited about the new arrival! So far, we have seen the flutter of the heart, and heart the heart beat last Thursday! We will continue to update as new milestones hit.

On October 10th, we had two special occasions. It was our second wedding ceremony, as well as our two month anniversary. It was such a blast, and was so good to see so many family members and friends. The photos can be viewed at http://www.shaughnessy.smugmug.com/gallery/6209579_Kzoqa#391543331_GaLJG

On October 12th, we boarded a plane to Orange County! After an hour and half of detours, our shuttle driver finally made it to the Long Beach Harbor. Nicole managed to get us mixed in with someones wedding party, so we were able to board before anyone else. We spent the first two days getting spa treatments and playing bingo. Finally on Wednesday, we made it to our first port, Puerto Vallerta. Unfortunately, there was a small accident while there. As we were boarding a smaller boat to head to the sea lion's, the boat shifted away from the dock. In the process, Dave fractured his shoulder, tore his bicep, and tore his labrum in a couple places.

On Thursday, we went to Mazatlan. We did a city tour, watched a tribal show, did some shopping, and finished up with a relaxing afternoon at a beach resort. It was nice to just lounge around and soak up some sun!

On Friday, we stopped at Cabo! How beautiful that place is! We spent the day taking a boat tour of Land's End, a quick swim in the ocean, and then a shopping tour. It is such a lovely city, and the people are so nice! Definitely worth a trip down there.

Saturday was another relaxing day at sea. Dave had a follow-up with the ship doctor, or gave him some good meds. Turned out to be a synthetic opium, but it was funny to see. Have you ever seen a grown man tell people how to get to Sesame Street? Imagine that going through security and customs. But at least he felt better!

We arrived home and begin the process of seeing the doctors and surgeons. Dave is undergoing surgery on Monday November 17th to re-attach his labrum.

Please check back, as we will upload pictures of honeymoon over the following days!
