Soccer Games & Baptisms!!!
and now for the baptism part- yes my wonderful husband was dunked on the 17th :) it was a wonderful baptism. thank you to all of the friends & family who came out to support him and witness such a special day for him. i am so excited for what lies ahead for us. he will be able to bless little reagan and baptize sterling & her when they are of age. it is going to be such a blessing in our home. he looked so cute in his white jumpsuit before they baptized him...he will probably be sore at me for saying he looked cute but who cares :) thank you also to all those who participated in the program that night. it was truely a beautiful night.
and last but not least, i wanted to put some pictures out there of sterling riding his new bike he got for christmas. he is such a little ham...he sure loves being outside on his bike. he also got a skateboard, but mommy is too afraid to let him try that one just yet. his coordination isn't that great yet and i don't want him to fall and break a leg or something!! i know i know- i need to let him be a little boy and fall a few times, but it makes me sad to see him hurt...one day i will but for now, i prefer to have him with out bumps & bruises....
good night for now...and again, i promise to be a better blogger to all those who follow this blog. thanks for being patient with me!! love you all!!

Baby Reagan Part 2
it is adorable- every night before he goes to bed, he has to say good night to Reagan Lynn Burleigh (he uses her full name) and then he kisses or hugs my belly. it is so cute. i can't wait to see what he is like when she is actually here and he can kiss her little face!!
we will be getting a 3d ultra sound in a few more weeks, so once we do, we will try to post the pic. i am not making any promises on how good it will be though. and when we get the nursery done, which daddy can not wait to get started, we will post pics.
love you all!

Updates
One of Dave's birthday gifts was a bag full of baby clothes. WE ARE HAVING A BABY! He, or hopefully SHE is due on May 23rd. We are so excited about the new arrival! So far, we have seen the flutter of the heart, and heart the heart beat last Thursday! We will continue to update as new milestones hit.
On October 10th, we had two special occasions. It was our second wedding ceremony, as well as our two month anniversary. It was such a blast, and was so good to see so many family members and friends. The photos can be viewed at http://www.shaughnessy.smugmug.com/gallery/6209579_Kzoqa#391543331_GaLJG
On October 12th, we boarded a plane to Orange County! After an hour and half of detours, our shuttle driver finally made it to the Long Beach Harbor. Nicole managed to get us mixed in with someones wedding party, so we were able to board before anyone else. We spent the first two days getting spa treatments and playing bingo. Finally on Wednesday, we made it to our first port, Puerto Vallerta. Unfortunately, there was a small accident while there. As we were boarding a smaller boat to head to the sea lion's, the boat shifted away from the dock. In the process, Dave fractured his shoulder, tore his bicep, and tore his labrum in a couple places.
On Thursday, we went to Mazatlan. We did a city tour, watched a tribal show, did some shopping, and finished up with a relaxing afternoon at a beach resort. It was nice to just lounge around and soak up some sun!
On Friday, we stopped at Cabo! How beautiful that place is! We spent the day taking a boat tour of Land's End, a quick swim in the ocean, and then a shopping tour. It is such a lovely city, and the people are so nice! Definitely worth a trip down there.
Saturday was another relaxing day at sea. Dave had a follow-up with the ship doctor, or gave him some good meds. Turned out to be a synthetic opium, but it was funny to see. Have you ever seen a grown man tell people how to get to Sesame Street? Imagine that going through security and customs. But at least he felt better!
We arrived home and begin the process of seeing the doctors and surgeons. Dave is undergoing surgery on Monday November 17th to re-attach his labrum.
Please check back, as we will upload pictures of honeymoon over the following days!
WEDDING PICTURES!
It has been quite some time, but we wanted to allow our family and friends to view the wedding photos. Our close friend and photographer, Kelly, has the pictures loaded at the following site:

Disneyland Half Marathon
On Sunday, Kenzie and I ran our race. 13.1 miles! what a challenge. As many of you know, I love to cycle, not run. So the fact that I signed up & actually finished the race was a huge accomplishment. Yes, I will even admit when I crossed the finish line, I had a tear in my eye. I couldn't beleive that I, Nicole Burleigh, had finished the race! I was so proud of myself & Kenzie!

WOW..its been a while :)
So now it has almost been a month since we got married and I have to say, I love being married!!! I have the most amazing husband. Everyday he amazes me more & more. He is the most kind, loving, funny, respectful man I know. I truely feel blessed that he chose me to share his life with.
This blog started as a way to communicate with our family & friends about things that are going on in our lives and we have decided to make this our "Burleigh Family Blog". You will be able to come here and see what all of us have been up too! As stated before, check back from time to time! Information & announcements about the wedding will be posted and of course we love to read everyones comments!!
